Grabbed this for $10 at my shop. I've never sent any coins to Phil "TruView" Arnold at PCGS, but I feel this coin would be a good candidate. I'll try and get a couple of photos of the reverse uploaded A.S.A.P., as it is equally as nice. Mixtures of green and pink really make this one pop! What do you guys think of the TruView idea? I know it's a bit pricey, at $16 submission fee (dealer deal!) and $20 for the imaging, but I'd really like to preserve this one... And sorry if the images are a bit distorted... I'm still trying to figure out how to adjust the lens on my new Nikon 1 (Ya know, that camera Ashton Kutcher poses with in those commercials on the tube?!). But, I must say, I'm impressed with it so far! -Brian PS: If you see any spotting, it's most likey on the 2x2. The coin itself is virtually spotless... minus the "rust" of course.
thats nice ill have to show you some really nice ones i found crh a while back maybe ill post em today or something
that 1955 would make a monster TrueView (IMO) ... if you send it in to PCGS before March 31st, the TV Photo is only $10 (instead of the usual $20)
:thumb: I am sure why but could be in alloy of the metal/ mix copper thur clad Proof sets 1981 to 1984 tone very well.:kewl:
You think? I'd sure love to see how it'd turn out! And why the price drop? Some "special" going on? $10 would be a steal! -Brian
This is one of the better Quarterly Specials PCGS has had. http://www.pcgs.com/ccspecial.html Check it out and get your 1955 in.
Found these in a coin roll earlier today. The 1st one caught my eye right away!! Anyone know why it would turn that color?
