has anyone ever seen or heard of a silver plated copper continential currency coin ? has anyone read about the Thomas Machin Mills has anyone actually seen a silver continential currency coin ? has anyone ever tested a silver coin ? who made the silver coins ...who made the copper coins information is known and very easy to find regarding the original pewter coins ....and the fake pewter coins ..... its the information regarding the copper / silver coins that is hard to find Articles referring to a Continental copper coin are found in the New York Journal of June 27, 1776, and the New York Gazette of July 1, 1776. does anyone know who made these copper continential currency coins ? and where they were made ..or how many were made ...or when they were made ? where they given permission to make them where they circulated .. and what about the 4 coins that were supposdidly made out of silver If anyone has any knowledgeable informed answers I would love to hear them if not I guess you would have to agree that the answers are unknown at this time .......but the clues are there and the facts are there all you have to do is figure it out ..... oh by the way has anyone found a silver plated copper continential currency coin ? Anyone remember last year sometime that newbie that joined claiming to have a bunch of Lincoln errors and was even trying to sell them on eBay as such and every time someone asked her what leads her to believe that the coins are errors, and she continually kept answering those questions with a question that went something like, "what should I be looking for? where would I see it on the coin?" Could never get a straight answer out of her as to what made her think her Lincolns were errors, and I even set her up on eBay by emailing a question to her about her listing, which clearly stated in the title error Lincolns, what the error was on the coin? and she would answer me with a question, "what should I be looking for?", yadda yadda yadda? Anyone remember that? Guess who's coming to dinner!
