hi i have a load of coin some dated 1719 1888 mostly british but some aussie and france....i have no idea if any of them are worth anything and was hoping some one help help me value them?
The first one appears to be a copper 1719 Great Britain farthing.. not sure on the worth, but I'd bet over $50 The 1888 coin is a bronze Great Britain penny. Mintage of 5,125,000 The coins with 3's on the back are silver Great Britain 3 pence which are worth at least their weight in silver which is .042 troy ounces each Unfortunately I can't see much detail on the coins with regards to what they say and their dates.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to help you with your darksiders, but welcome to the neighborhood just the same. Chris
Yes, better pictures of each coin will help. I am no expert in foreign coins, but there are plenty who are.
Welcome!!!:welcome: The two coins on the left of the third picture down are crowns (not worth too much), one a 1981 Dianna and Charles commerative crown. The other I can`t really see well. (Sorry) To the right of them crown I can`t see you have a half penny which sadly isn`t worth a lot based on the design on the front its young. The good thing is you have plenty of silver coinage (Threepences) and your main coin is a Farthing, which I won`t say the value of as I will probably be wrong, but I can see people charging $80 on eBay (but people charge/pay too much on eBay) You also have 1848 Silver Four pence that could be worth around $15.You would need better pics to make it easier to value Overall you have a good lot of old British coins!
*he'll. godd the reason why theres a bunch of stars caused i spelled H E L L and forgot the stupid apostrohe. stupid internet slang sometimes
It would be helpful to put your coins on a scanner (at 300dpi or higher, and then cut down to smaller size for upload restrictions). The dates matter quite significantly, as the mintage numbers have a high variance (and often affect value).
