It seems as though 2012 is the year for crap junk marketing. The loud marketing turned into desperate marketing, and then just downright delusional. I am not talking about a simple (OMG YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS!) in your face type of advertising. If that were the case I would be guilty in the past. I am talking about elaborate lies via multiple forum postings, stories about $200,000 dollars found in safes, asking prices of millions of dollars on junk coins, and such farfetched stories as Alec Baldwin and a certain video game application. This is officially a rant, and I just want to assure you that from my not so important perception it appears that these tactics are completely absurd. As a buyer I would just like to add that accurate pictures, with a brief description will do just fine. (BTW not talking about anyone in specific) ~Jason
LOL I just reported a coin dealer on eBay that was selling those unstruck cent planchets the mint used to give away to visitors as "ERROR- Unstruck Cent Coin". Seems an inaccurate description on the point of deception to me.
