have found a coin that I am really excited about getting unfortunately it is a older style holder, neither of these coins is the one that I am interested in its more about the label
so wanted to here some opinions on grading from the green holder to now, I know with
the old PCGS currency at the begging the standards were not very consistent causing
some to be over graded, so just want to make sure before purchase that it would hold the same grade.

If anything, the OGH -- Old Green Holders -- were graded CONSERVATIVELY at the time of their use. They generally command a (slight) premium.....the Wells Fargo Hoard OGH is also sought after by those of us who want a WF Hoard Saint.

FWIW, that is EXACTLY the coin I am trying to acquire, the only difference if I get a 65 or 66 or maybe a 67 (unlikely) with or without a CAC.

The OGH looks like Gen 3.1 from 1993-98, the Liberty Head DE looks like Gen 4.4 from 2005-11.

Vets here can correct me, but I'd say that it was right about Gen 4.0 and Gen 4.1-4.3 (1998-2005) when things got loosey-goosey.

The Saint looks like it just evaded the beginning of when you might see the start of the so-called "market grading" era....the Liberty Head looks like it caught the tail end of the start-up.

Thats good to hear, might just leave it in the green holder then if theres a premium
I will be going to the Long Beach Expo at the end of January, so should see some fine stuff there :) but really hoping I can get the one that I am after, I will share
it when I make the purchase.

For some reason, I thought FUN was in January....Long Beach a few months later like about April....and ANA in the Midwest in Summer.

Didn't realize that all except ANA also have more than 1 show per year.

Another plus for that OGH for the WF....it is the original holder for the Wells Fargo No-Motto coins.....anything in an NGC holder isn't original and is possibly overgraded.

Or...corretly graded and the OGH was undergraded. :D

FUN is in January and then has a summer show too.
Long Beach is three times a year (with slightly different dates each year)
The ANA show is summer and it moves around (although Rosemont is the most often chosen destination). There is also a smaller spring ANA show (March for 2023, in Arizona).

Many of the PCGS Old Green Label coins are conservatively to accurately graded, but not all of them. Once more, there is no substitute for knowing how to grade coins.

PCGS also had anniversary label which was green. Those coins were graded to the current standards. The label is marked as a "30? anniversary" but if you look at it quickly, without thinking, you can be fooled.
