Found this beauty while metal detecting should I get it slabbed?

I`ve had a detector for years and found many coins and old items but this was my best find.
Its a first century Celtic pommel from a dagger, I found it about 400 metres away down the street after the water company laid some new pipes.

Now that is a cool find. Looks like AU details. I keep saying I am going to get a metal detector and after seeing a find like that that gives me more motivation. Got to be some good finds left in the ground around North Texas.

 

That is a neat find while metal detecting. I bet you were stoked when you dug that out from the ground.

 

Stoked doesn't begin to discribe how I was feeling when I saw that sucker in the dirt.
