What are your thoughts on this Half? I am trying to negotiate a trade + Cash. What would you be willing to pay for such a piece? It is currently priced at $750. TYVM.

My good god, it is one and the same. Thank you for pointing that out Jester. I do wonder which presentation is more accurate to what is in hand. Perhaps this is a coin I shouldn't attempt to buy online.

Still nice, but... Out of my price-range anyhow. I could only do 200 cash and the rest trade. The guy is not interested in a trade.

Keep in mind that Heritage's photos are not the best either, although in this case (most likely) much more true-to-life than the sellers which definitely appear to be juiced. It is not that difficult to make a coin appear to be something its not - just a tidbit to keep in mind. As for the price, its a bit high for my liking, but all depends of your reason for buying. CDN: $525/$575 in 64 but the plus does make for an easier flip in most cases.

I'd have to see the coin in-hand to make an assessment, but from the pics, it looks more like a 63+ than a 64+.

Getting past the grade, that's one attractive Barber that I would be proud to own.

Using only the available photos and technically grading, I agree with you on a 63. However the coin does appear to be market acceptable for its assigned grade, no matter how unfortunate this may be. Apparently a very solid and nice example nonetheless.
