Old Mint Set 1953

    I was looking at an old mint set from my YOB and it says
    it has 30 coins? Is that double coins, 10, from each mint,
    P,D,S? Just a bit confused. Also the 1953 proof set would
    be special polished dies and made in Philedelphia that year?
    Going to have to re mortgage the house for all these.---John

    Yes, there was 2 coins of each denomination per mint.

    They issued double mint sets until 1959.
