This got to be exciting for us coin geeks old Mike hawking his wares, geeeez I find it so funny and miss leading when these folks show the 2012 Silver Eagle in a ANACS slabbed holder with a 2011 silver eagle encased in it wa wa wa:yes:
Yup, flipped through the channels and came across coin collector. I don't hate the guy, but you have to admire his desire to be a total salesman. I wouldn't buy anything from them. Although the 24 k state quarters looks sweet lol.
He's hard to take anymore but i actually bought off one of his older shows 3-4 years ago. they had double eagles in pcgs 62 for $995 which was only a few bucks high at the time so i bought 2. now i'm glad i have them. one and only time.
The guy I really can't stand is Barry Chappel. I get him on DirecTV channel 223 or 224. He also sells what I assume to be over-priced art on another program on the same channel. At any rate, he sells slider silver dollar rolls at over (way over) BU prices and other assorted rip-off items. The show used to be hosted by another guy, Jimmy Gerstel. Then they teamed up before Jimmy left. Occasionally there'll be some other sleazeball pitching over-priced modern junk.
More than likely, you would have been able to buy that or any other coin they sell in the open coin market for much less.
