1887 Morgan Grade

    I am thinking MS63 or 64? Opinions? Thanks.

    It appears to have great luster and and strong strike but that hit on the cheek will probably keep this one down to a MS-63...very nice Morgan !!

    By the pictures I'd say 61 maybe a 62 but I'm hard on morgans

    I am at 63. With those BIG marks on the cheek there is no way I could give it a 64.

    I would say MS62 tops MS63. Same as other have said, too many bag marks on the obverse.

    MS63 many field and device bag marks. May get a 62 if their are too many. Also consider what is up by the UNU of Unum if it's just tone like to the right of the date and on the reverse or is that a foreign contaminate or dirt or what? That may have a bigger impact on the 62 theory if it's anything other than tone.
