It’s not very often that I say “WOW!” CGB.fr

So, @David Atherton located a book I’ve been looking for in France (many thanks, again). I do not venture across the pond to look at coins, books, etc. because I worry about outcomes. Well, I decided to put on my big boy pants and order the book and a coin from the seller CGB.fr. When I ordered the book and coin on Tuesday, I expected a fun mid January surprise when it finally got to Virginia. Well, I could not really fathom what I had when I was handed a FedEx package today and said, “This was left for you.” I had not purchased any coins lately and was not expecting any packages until…mid January. “Wow” was my response when I saw the package was from France. “Double wow” was the response when I pulled out the book and saw my newest coin addition. Thank you CGB.fr…well done.

I've ordered from them a couple times in the past. They've got great service and the packaging is top notch.

Rats. I was thinking that might have been the case when I posted, but wasn't sure...

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I've always had excellent dealings with them. Given that I collect French Colonial Morocco, they have often been a source for interesting material. Their auctions are usually full of cool stuff, but their fixed price lists are sometimes on the high side.

I tend to buy more world coins from them than ancients. Here is one I recently purchased. It has been polished, but I've been wanting one of these types for a while and got it for a pretty fair price, I think:
