I've looked at these auctions in the past and to me the prices being paid are extremely high , plus you have to add in their buyers fees. Do not be misled by the opening bids. To see the real bids you have to log in.
Can you say "Auction Fever"? This site is frequented mostly by buyers who don't know what they are buying, and think that the "seized property" name guarantees bargains. "If it sounds too good to be true . . ." After you pay the registration fee and log in, you'll see the real bids, which have always been stupid money on everything I considered bidding on.
I thought it was too good to be true.. until I registered for the auction and saw what the real bids were lol. I get much better deals from the local dealers and ebay.
Ah so true it is. Many, many, many years ago I fell for some of those type of auctions. Even went to some.
It really did look like a good deal, but I created an account to see what the REAL prices were, no thanks.
I just found that too. I didnt have to pay a reg fee, but the auction prices were way, way, WAY out of my range. Just another auction site. You may get a good bid for a great coin but by the time the auction ends several days later your original bid has been increased by 3000%
