    a 1849 large cent

    a 1858 seated liberty has a too shiny luster- might have been cleaned

    The Morgan I would say is VF - don't think it's a DDO.

    The Buffs - the pics are a bit too small to say for sure but I'd guess AU based on the pics you have.

    The cent - VF - the LIberty Seated half is damaged and harshly cleaned but it has XF details.

    What are those dark spots on the reverse of the 1913 & obverse of the 1913-D? ... residue from dipping solutions?

    I would get them out of the flips you have them in....they are the type that self seal and the stuff that helps seal the flip together can be harmful to the coins.

    You can certainly try - all he can do is say no. But if he does, then I don't imagine you'll be buying any more from him.
