Finally shipping: Whitman's A Guide Book of Canadian Coins by Haxby

    This long-awaited (by me) volume is finally shipping after many delays.
    Ordered a copy today from Amazon and should have it early next week, at which time I'll be able to comment on its merits or lack thereof.

    Well, Whitman will have a long way to go to surpass the Charlton Catalogue but I simply can't stop myself from buy books about Canadian coinage! :)

    I couldn't agree more, Charlton is the originator. I'm just glad that there's a second reference or second opinion I can refer to when I need it.

    Haxby's annual "Coins of Canada" is an excellent reference book.
    Not as detailed as the much larger Charlton, it is handy to carry around to coin shows.
