Honestly not sure what to think. I have seen troy ounce in pure and sterling, but never 90%. This is new to me.
Because it doesn't exist. It has to be either 1 troy ounce = 1.097 ounces or 90% silver = .77344 ounces.
So it may be one troy ounce of silver plus 10% other, or it could be one troy ounce of silver AND other metal. I honestly wouldn't pay much the price of one troy ounce of silver, though I might consider paying for 90% of a troy ounce.
Explain that. Because for the majority of collectors, 90% silver is slightly more than 3/4 of an ounce for a dollar denomination.
IMHO, it's worth spot and not a cent more. So...whatever spot value for this coin is, that's the most I would pay.
medal it's not a coin it's a medal/ private round. they can make any weight or fineness they want . the franklin mint made all kinds of sizes and purity along with many other companys.
