Another raw Proof Lincoln I found and bought on Wednesday. I'll be sending this into PCGS for grading and photos next week.

    This was the sellers blurb:

"This 1938 Proof Lincoln Cent is estimated to grade PR65+RB. This is a simply amazing coin with tons of eye appeal. It is an original and naturally toned coin with incredibly nice toning. Both the obverse and reverse show stunning sky blue and rose tones. This coin has not been cleaned or messed with, it is not hairlined. The surfaces are very nice with no marks or hits and no discolored areas. There are only a couple very minute toning specks keeping this coin from an even higher grade. The coin is super flashy and fully mirrored. Just an awesome example of this early Proof Lincoln Cent. I thought it was also a very interesting coin in that it looks as if the dies were over polished or something ... the front of Lincoln's coat is missing, note right below the 19 of the date. I guess we could call this the missing coat variety! Truly an amazing coin in every way!"

I would have guessed PR64 ... and in terms of color perhaps BN or RB ... definitely not a RD! But in any case you can never tell with raw coins ... It could Genuine if they detect any illegal chemicals.

IMG_0003.jpg ...and there is the reverse. The scan does not do it justice, as there are blemishes on the sulifane of the 2x2. Coin has a couple spots on it, but not near as bad the scan makes it look.

    Picked up some common proofs.

Just a few I picked up today. The 52 looked better in hand than the pictures. 1950, 1952, 1953 twice and a 1955. Gave $33 for the 1950, $5 for the 1952 and $6 each for the others.

Really nice WAM set. I hope they BOTH came in MS65 or higher. And yes, now to work on getting the '99' if you haven't done so already. Where did you send them Bahabully? Congrats. You've given me ideas for doing slabbing mine.
