What is everyones favorite Coin Publication. I like all of them except for the fact that they ALL have price guides. I wish they would spend more time on the articles and maybe features of everyday collectors, not the fithly rich or the guy who had amassed a huge valuable collection 100 years ago. Just the common collector.....Just my two cents.
    What does everyone read ??

I subsribe to Coin World and Coin Values. I like Coin World because of the interesting coulmns by people like Q. David Bowers, Bill O'Rourke, Ken Potter, and John Wexler. Coin Values is nice because it has a lot of grading information in it.

I subscribe to Coin World and Coin Values, Coins, and Coinage. However, I would prefer when some of the articles are written that when they refer to a coin in affordable condition that the price that follows not be in the thousands.

That is a fairly unfair question, given that there is a wide range of numismatic areas. Everyone has different tastes and hence reading completely different publications.

Hey, great link there GDJMSP. Thanks for that. I already use a few of them but now I know of a few more.
I don't want any coin, gun, etc type magazines or papers coming to my house so that many on line, free, coin web sites is great. Having a coin magazine or newsleter hanging out of my mail box in this area is not real smart. Thanks again for the Link.

Great links! However, I generally agree that most publications seem to focus on either very high-end colecting or beginners, with something of a gap between them.

If you take the time to go through all of the threads and posts found in the Numismatic Resources section, or do a search of the section for a particular topic, you may be surprised and what all you can find ;)
