Hey there. Hope you don't mind me piping in here...

My father has a very nice US type coin collection. He had mentioned to me a book that holds 80 coins... he's been having a hard time finding one and I'd like to try to get it for him for Father's Day. Are you familiar with this particular book/folder? I've tryed searching for "type coins" and "80 holes" but I've had no luck. Even if you could recommend a few places I could look.

    Thanks so much.

Dansco and Whitman are the primary publishers of coin albums/folders. Just Google "Dansco Album" or "Whitman Folder" and you'll have a choice of hundreds of sites that sell them.

    what madspec said!

The Dansco 7070 album is a very nice album for a 19th and 20th century type set. It doesn't have holes for the 18th century types (most of which are rather valuable and you wouldn't want to put them in this type of album anyway) but it makes a very nice presentation method.

Got to agree with the Dansco 7070. Just about all you ever hear for type sets on this and many other coin forums. Just don't know if you can get it in time for Father's Day unless there is a coin store near you. Good luck. Hope you get him what he wants.

    First off-Welcome to the forum

Second, the dansco 7070 folder is a great holder for any US type set.
