My wheat cent collection is complete from 1934 on up to 1958-d. Any key dates (apart from 09svdb, 14d, 22) I should know about?

Great Job! :thumb: The set continues from 1909 thru 1933 so you now have to get started on that. If you have any questions about certain coins don't hesitate to post your inquiry or PM me. I'll try to help you out :)

Alex, I'd also like to help you out. I have plenty of extra early dates and MM's that would probably help you out.
Way to go on the latter dates though!

Great job. I remember when I finished a folder; it was 1941 to 1974 Lincoln Cents. (The Whitman folders may have been a little different back then.)

I moved it all, plus what I had in the 1909 to 1940 folder, into a Dansco album. Now, to complete the set... which will take a while. Need the usual suspects (09-S, 09-S VBD, 14-D, 31-S; I am ignoring that Dansco has a space for the 22 Plain-- come on, guys!) and a few teens S mint pennies that were out of reach of a teenager on an allowance.

The hardest one for me in this series was the 1955-S suprisingly. I must have searched through 6000-7000 wheats and have come across only one. They are a lower mintage, but not all that rare. Just wanted to toss that info in. All other dates were pretty accessable.

Very good job, the search never stops you will always remember the first folder. years from now this one will always stand out .:high5:

Probably because most of the 1955-S cents are still UNC.

all the early s mints 09 through 15 can sometimes be a pain to find in descent (fine or better) condition for a reasonable price.

Everyone hoarded them in 1955 because collectors thought they would be worth a lot of money since it was the last s mint.

I searched through approx 5,000 wheat cents and only found 1 1955-s and it was uncirc.

The 55 s was my last coin in that folder to. I finally brake down and bought one in ms. I got it pretty cheap, but I to was surprised it was that hard to find also. It took a while to fine a 73 s as well, But since I found one, now I have found several in AU in the rolls I've searched.
