hello to all you coin enthusiasts,
I wanted to know if any of you bought "unsearched" wheat cent lots on ebay and found anything. I might be buying a couple rolls soon, so if you have a seller that you reccomend, tell me!

I know about the scam. I really wanted to know if anyone actually found any good cents. I take it back that I was going to buy any rolls, because I had made that mistake before. Luckily, I don't regret it because I was able to sell some wheats for more than I bought them fore.

The problem is that ebay sellers feed the better date coins on the ends and stuff it with junk wheats and then put another ender. These go way above market value and definitely not worth taking a risk.

I used to buy these rolls years ago and if you're just looking to accumulate some wheats or have some fun I say go ahead and buy a few rolls. You wont find any key dates (well, probably not) but you'll find wheats going back to 1909 and the 1910s as well as mint BU wheats from the '50s. You may find some Indian Heads every now and then as well. Planted or not it was still fun finding those IHCs.
