Hey guys just taking a break from the whole eBay/figurines thing. I just drank some really good coffee and I am determined to sort through my canadian coinage. Here are the before pictures. I'll try to post good finds after. I don't think there is much value here, but I'm looking for anything interesting. War of 1812 stuff, Queen Elizebeth, and especially a cool turn of the century token that I can't seem to find. Anyhow, here is a before picture. Please let me know if you can identify anything in this not so close pic.
OMG!!! JUST FOUND A HALF DIME 1868! IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL OF THESE COINS Making Video (Video Camera is dead). Anyhow I found the missing seated liberty half dime. A few months ago I found a little 2x2 paper holder that said "Half Dime." There was nothing in there, and I could never find it. I assumed that my grandpa sold it. Just found this in the middle of all of these coins. I was so excited to find a 1910 and 1917 canadian 10 cent, and then Bam a lightly toned half dime. There is a small chunk missing (DARN) on the obverse and some light rim damage, prolly from being stored loose with all of these coins. Not sure of the value, but I'm throwing it in a 2x2 after I get some shots. I find stuff like this, the 1942/1 merc and the 1855 gold piece and wonder if some of this stuff was planted for me to find one day. Be back with pictures.
Sorry guys, Camera died, I left you all hanging. Just searched through about 700 coins. Here is the 1868-S Half Dime, as well as a rosevelt medal from 1908, and some really cool stuff I have no idea of. If you know any of the coins please comment, I'll be posting pictures for the next hour. The half dime is my first ever, and has some nice colors, but is badly damaged.
This is a really cool medal of Rosevelt. Says its from some company in Milwake 1908. A true Rough Rider. View attachment 159834 View attachment 159835
