Worse in my opinion, I have been a customer since 1997. It looks inferior, not business-like. Who the heck is responsible for this change? What were they thinking?

If it's not broken don't fix it. The new graphics are like a kaleidoscope.

Wow. I've never had a problem getting through to customer service, but then again, I haven't had to contact them all that often.

I like the new blow up feature for viewing the coins. In the old version I was limited on how much I could zoom in......

It looks like ebay. I do like that they put pictures right on the listing page. No need to go into the actual item to see the image.

  7. I like the fact that you can track a coin in one step now as opposed to two steps on the prior site. TC

    Leadfoot there is no spoon

They have larger photos and gone are hidden reserves.

A huge move forward, IMO, not even close in my eyes.

Here is the detail they posted over on PCGS:

Their images are still way inferior to GreatCollections.com. The new layout is more modern. The old website needed a facelift, for sure.

I agree, but GC has no descriptions, and runs auctions for two weeks.

Teletrade has been the leader in their style of coin auctions for a long time. They have done a lot of things right. Good imaging, bidding, weekly auction system, price and auction records going back for as long as you want.

When I clicked on the new Teletrade it was, "what the ****?" It would be like waking up one morning and finding that the New York Times had gone "modern" with a tabloid format, as the NY Daily News does.

I say just imitate success and evolve as a business, don't do dramatic changes unless there are pressing reasons for doing so. Just my 2c.

I spent a good bit of time on Teletrade last night and was surprised to learn this morning they had changed their format. It will take some time to get used to but, as Leadfoot noted, there are plenty of improvements.
