I didn't pay anything for the coin & I know it's worthless, but I thought it'd be fun to try to figure out the date.

Any guesses? cull 2.jpg cull 4.jpg cull 1.jpg cull 3.jpg

    I should've anticipated that one. :)

I think I'm going to toss it in with my next Ebay listing and surprise someone.

1818 is my guess judging by what's left of the date.

either 1818 or 1819 definately a matron head of the 1816-1836 range. Too bad it's not at least G-4 or better.

Thanks guys! I'm going to pass it along to someone who can appreciate it more than I do. Do they ever do small contests on this site?

Ha, perhaps it is. So now the question is...

    "What do you see?" ;)

I, I see a cull large cent, yeah, that, specifically worn in the top right and bottom left areas of the obverse. I see slight depresions for the eyes and ear, yeah, I'll go with that, too.:p
