picked up several new walkers today to add to the collection and figured id photograph and post them before i put them away. dates are 1918S,1936D,1937S,1938X2,1939D,1945
Great looking collection! I am silver with envy! To date I only have 1 Walker, but I love it. Come to think of it...twice now, in the tool store I have noticed 2 guys (on separate occasions) that have had Liberty Walking halves on there hats. One was a ball cap, and the guy was a collector. Just last week the guy was NOT a collector and it was attached to a leather band that goes around a cowboy hat. He took the band off the hat and showed me, and the whole coin was there, just concaved a bit, and obviously had a band soldered to it. I told him it was definitely real, and I almost offered him something for it...until he said a friend of his made it special for him.
It's impossible to tell from the picture, but check the '45 for missing initials, if they are (missing), you got yourself a nice variety!
