Are there any cheap binders pages for coins that fit 2x2's (both cardboard and saflips)? I have a binder with some old pokemon cards from when I was younger and was hoping I could empty it out and use those baseball card sized slots, but the slots are a bit too big. Thanks, Brian
Brian, You can get them from JP's Corner......... http://www.jpscorner.com/Vinyl_Notebook_Pocket_Pages_Binder.htm Chris
Here is a Website that carries both the soft & the brittle pages for 2x2s. The archival pages are what I use. However, they are much more brittle and hard compared to the vinyl pages. I think most dealers use the softer vinyl pages. They probably use the vinyl pages because the coins go in & out more easily and the flexibility is better for repeated (and possibly careless) flipping of the pages. http://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/products/coin-pages/
Thank you. One thing to note is that I believe any coin I will be putting in there will be in a saflip or a 2x2 cardboard, so vinyl should be okay then right?
You get to decide that for yourself. I think the coins may be trapped in close proximity to the soft vinyl for extended time. Remember that you may put a coin into a 3-ring & then not touch it for months or even years. My choice was to use the archival pages. IMO They work fine providing you handle them deliberately & carefully and providing don't need to constantly move your coins around.
