Found this today. It's an 1889-P VAM 19B with the raised metal over the eagle's right wing (viewer's left).

What do you think it would grade?
It has some hits over Liberty's ear. I thought it was rub and would grade near AU58; then I was thinking it might go MS60-62. Then I thought I'd ask people with more experience.... so here it is!

I think it's a solid 63 assuming the luster is nice, which I believe it is.

If it doesn't have any wear, it should grade MS-63.

I don't see a trace of wear and the luster seems to be outstanding I'm gonna go with MS-64.

Tough to tell from the picture. It looks slightly worn on Morgans hair, so I would give it AU-58 if it is slighlty worn, but if it turns out to be UNC., then I'll go with a MS-63+.

I can't tell from the pics whether it's wear or not, but the coin has weak strike and that makes it even more difficult.

You have the coin in hand nesvt, if the areas in question are a different color - then it's wear and the coin is AU. If not, then it's MS. You'll have to tell us which it is.

Depending on the wear- either 58 or 63.
