This will be in the mail tomorrow off to NGC. Anybody want take a guess and grade it? I am still getting the hang of taking pictures, so if anyone has pointers for picture taking that would be great. The pictures don't do it justice. It has more luster than I have seen on an IHC and has nearly completely clear fields. The only thing I can find that looks wrong are two very small spots on the reverse. The lighting on the third picture is bad, but it shows the mark free fields.

It's a beauty!! I like the clash marks on the reverse, too. I'll guess MS65BN.

I have some 65's in my collection, but I think this one takes the cake as far as quality. Im really hoping for a 66. It one of those coins thats also borderline RB or BN.

63??? No way!!! This coin has SUPER nice surfaces. Based on the photos this coin is EASILY a 65 with a very good shot at 66.

I guess that brings me to my next question....how much should I insure it for for NGC/mailing purposes?

RedRaider, I'd insure it at $2000; $3000, to really be on the safe side.

Here are a few more pictures from other angles/lights. There appears to be some faint scratches by the date in one of the pictures.....dont know where they came from in the pics, because I cannot see them on the coin!! You can see the two small spots on the reverse form this angle. Looking straight down at them, they are hardly visible at all. To see them, the coin has to be at an angle.

Well NGC posted their grade today and I was a little disappointed to see it only graded MS64BN. This is by far the nicest and prettiest MS64 IHC I own. I guess the two spots on the reverse held it back from a 65.

Ill post slabbed pics when it comes in.
