I found these in my "piggy bank" while I was looking for what ever
I could find. The mint marks are different heights . Were there different
types of Denver mint Lincolns in 1959?---John

  3. Yep, both cents are from the Denver mint. The mintmarks were not done uniformly, so there are a number of different ways the mintmark will appear, but none of the varieties command any premium. I'd hang onto them just because I hoard the copper cents, but otherwise, no extra value.

Thanks, I just found another and it's a bit different than the first two.
    Will definitely keep them.---John

Guessing by your avatar, are you thinking that there is a Lincoln version of the Type 1 and Type 2 Franklins?

No , actually the Franklin is me. It's the half dollar from
the year I was born. Never knew there were Type 1 and 2
Franklins. I spend most of my time working on Buffalo nickles
and Indian Head cents. I learn something new every day, which
is why I ask so many questions. :)---John

pumpkinpie what is this I don*t even

Before the early 1990's mintmarks were hand-applied to dies for coins so mintmarks vary in this way.
