Had to chuckle at how small they are, one is 1/10th oz and the other 1/20th. Rather disappointed that the cases had slight scuff marks on the front, especially as they are MS 70's. I'd send them back if i didn't think i got a good price on them. I don't supose NGC offer a re-casing service without having to have it graded again do they?
Congratulations! These coins have a rather appealing design, and of course, from an investment standpoint, IMHO, you can't really go wrong with these. Regards, -Kurt
Yeah, i liked the design and being born in the year of the dragon myself they have even more meaning.
The dragons are fun, even if its just used as a marketing device to sell precious metals coins. Each year perhaps appealing to those of a given design. Personally, I wouldn't bother with the time and expense of 'reholdering' these coins since you already paid a premium on the fractional gold coins in these small sizes. Yes, there is such a service to have the holders changed, without submitting for a new grade. One other option you may consider is a plastic polish like the one Wizard sells to try to buff out the scratches or surface smudges.
