I'm sure PCGS will never release the breakdown of label types they did on the 25th Anniversary sets for various reasons... But we can sort of narrow it down. We know that the Mint made 100,000 total sets. In looking at the PCGS population reports it appears that PCGS has graded approximately 11,000-11,500 total 25th Anniversary Silver Eagle sets. Because the special Mercanti autographed labels were not widely advertised to all PCGS members, but instead were advertised primarily to dealer members and bulk submitters, I'd guess that less than half of the sets graded by PCGS were the Mercanti labels... and probably closer to a quarter of the sets would be my guess. So, I'd guess that somewhere around 2,500-5,000 Mercanti autographed sets are out there...
