Expert 1970S small date expert needed ASAP????

    it does have the low 7 but lets wait for the guys with more experience than i have to verify this.

    good curvature on the nine too, looked at other non low date varieties i think this is the real deal or at least i hope, ive been after one of these for awhile.

    i havnt paid too much attention to them i keep all my s mint cents and i have found one when i was looking for them. not too hard to find in xf-40 or higher

    Not worth much at all unless in very high grade. I just had a need to find one for myself and ill keep it for a long time, who knows????

    i Believe it's a large date. The letters in liberty will be fairly bold on the large date and less so on the small date. You could check for this.Also, if the upper loop of the 9 is pointed down toward the mintmark, that also indicates that it's large date. On a small date the upper loop points more toward the 7. Do a search on this site and you should find other discussions on this.

    I know what im looking for and i need no further confirmation, I have many large dates to compare it too. I think i got it this time for sure. Anyone with alot of experience could chime in any moment thanks

    Large date

    I go against the norm I guess when looking at these. I look at the BOTTOM of the 7 and the size of the space inside the 0. I can tell instantly using these markers.

    This is how I do it, and it still takes a good eye. Who the heck ever noticed this foolishness anyway?

    as far as i can tell (and comparing with the 1960 small and large date i have thanks to Kasia) i wuld say large date to
