Pretty cool if you ask me... lol :thumb: :thumb: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/46131300/ns/world_news-europe/
well if it rains, i win, if i pee on it, i win, if theres fire, i win. any of those are good for me, its a win win win situation!
I have never been known to beat around the bush so I am not going to start now! I feel I must say that I only see 1 member here that I am familiar with in a manner of speaking. I was forced to take ~6 months off away from this forum and many other things as I tried to recover from a serious illness..(still doing so) I post a link to a unique story and I get replies like I want to pee on it?? Whats happend to our group of guys that always had positive things to say? I am a little vexed on what I am seeing here these days. Where are all the former paper guy's at..I would like to join them. Where are the guy's who want to build unique sets of Banknotes to share and discuss how and why they have taken on the challenge. You have the right to say whatever you want and I am not trying to prevent that....this is just how I feel about it!!
This is really a unique and interesting way of protesting RickieB. While our situation here isn't quite as bad as the European's, were not too far behind them if we don't get things straightened out. In any case, this story is interesting on a number of levels and especially to those of us who collect currency. Thanks for the post. Bruce
@RickieB: I just found the thread doing my daily review of the new Paper Money threads. There are only a few of us Paper Money collectors on this predominantly "GD" and coin/bullion-centric forum. I'm sure glad you're back amongst our numbers. Thanks for the story. I enjoyed reading it and seeing the images of the house.
RickieB are you not feeling the love? Would you like a hug cause if so I know Krispy will give you one . How are you feeling? Is the recovery process coming along smoothly (if that is possible)? As for the positive attitude, I concur it has changed a lot lately and quite a shame too. Back to the topic, That was an interesting link, thanks for sharing and I must admit that dude is scary looking.
lol..no! No hugs...I do not care about the love...the former Marine in me is a bit more respectful than citations of wise cracks (petty ones to say the least) I just recall the PM forum being somewhat more mature. Hope you guys are well and I too hope the Euro and US Dollar do better. Chrisild regardless of my rant wether it is dislike or my thoughts of it being disrespectful (what was posted or how it was posted), it has a rude sense of smart a** tied to it. I find it unique and cool idea, I am sure the artist would find some of these posts I am referring to as "scary" as well.
By the way, "the guy" is not all that scary. Understanding him was not that easy for me (English is not my first language) but it sure is interesting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beK0O25O9aY Christian
Neat idea, reminds me of the stories of hyperinflation in Europe when people would use the worthless papermoney as wallpaper and such as it was cheaper.
I bet paper money would make for a pretty decent R factor for sure. I know the money factory sales shredded notes, but freak it's not cheap? Wallpapering my cave with uncut ones is not a new idea around here! Ask my wife the first thing I said when I received my first 32 subject sheet. Not rich enough for wallpaper, but I did frame that big boy
