Hi ! I know these are not great pictures, but I just wanted to brag a bit about this purchase.
    It cost me $ 38.00 for a 1938 Buff.

This is a PCGS MS 65 1938-D Buffalo. I have always wanted a slabbed Buff so I could do some comparison grading on the many other raw ones I have.

Looking at the MS coin, it appears I have some coins that have better strikes than this one but not as much luster. How much would you say luster counts ? Maybe a drop of 1 or 2 grades ?

Luster goes with eye appeal and definitely counts for 1 at least, in my opinion. But I don't work at a TPG lol. That one sure looks like it has some booming luster too. Great pickup. I have seen 63's and 64's with wicked luster also.

That's gotta be the nicest MS65 buff I have ever seen!

Nice pickup Dave. There are some nice slabbed 37-D's available out there also ;)

Nice Buffalo Dave. I love that series and have put a small herd of them together myself!
