That is amazing!!! Finding Franklin and Walker halves in a box is one thing, a whole roll is totally different! Wow!

Though this morning while getting my coffee from McDonald's I got a 1964 Quarter in change. The sad thing is I knew it right away by the sound it made when they gave me the change. Even though I didn't get it from a roll I'm adding it to my total for the year lol

The largest was 61 90% halves. So really, almost the same size, but the dollar value of the 90%ers is greater because you take a hit for the reduced silver content of the 40%ers.

Wanted to record it for posterity's sake.

Nope, there's a bunch of '17's '18's and '20's, but nothing good.

 

I searched through $250 in dimes today and found a single 1958-D Roosevelt.

 

Box of quarters: 2x ten Pence and something that looks chineese but has nothing on the reverse or obverse. Just a round piece of metal with a square punched out in the center.

 

Also found yesterday, a '64 Ken in $10 loose from a teller, and a '69 in $40 of CWR's. 4 silver dimes in 4 boxes... 2 in each of the first two, the last two were skunks, ugh.

 

I don't think you get to say "ugh" for at least 6 months with the haul you just had.

 

The ugh is more for all the crap I've gotta drag to the bank on my lunch to cash in. Getting two boxes of halves today.

 

90% Silver Trifecta!!

Well whatever Merc ran into yesterday I scored a little bit of that action today!
Picked up my two boxes of halves and maybe 10 rolls in there is a bright white edge worn pretty smooth. By experience I know this has to be something good (WL or Ben), it was a WL. I keep opening and every couple rolls they keep coming 1 each per roll WL's and Ben's with 1 x 1964 mixed in there.

The Frankies in particular are in very nice shape. It was too bad I was on lunch and I was in such a rush becuase I needed to cash in the clad in a coin lock bag today so it can be sent out tomorrow morning by my bank. I tried taking pics of the silver in the roll but it was too sunny in the car and pics did not come out.

absurd find Merc, and also Hellofthenorth. Hellofthenorth, did you get any 40% in that box? That would be wierd to get only 90%, I don't think I've had one of those in my 50+ boxes. Also, have you opened the 2nd box yet?

Man I just can't get a bank to "remember to order for me". The last 2 weeks and maybe 4 out of 5, BAC has forgotten to order for me, so I decided to try PNC. They say sure, no problem we can order you a box, it'll get here Friday, go in Sunday, nope we didn't get it. Ugh. Especially during the Winter/Silver season.

 

North, Could I get the name and adress of that bank? I was thinking about opening an account. Nice Score

 

I found it strange too, not a 40%er in the box. I have had 4 other boxes that I remember that were only 90%er's, but they were single WL's, Ben's, & Kennedy in the box. But 10 x 90%er's in a box for me (or anyone really) was just unheard of. The second box is still in the car, and I sure hope that what Box 1 brought me continues in Box 2. I was so pumped opening that box I can't wait to get to the other one and see what's in there! My order guy has been pretty good lately. I'm going to have to hook him up with something.
