Nice box of halves you got. 202 and Street road is right outside of Westtown, south of West Chester. It's literally right at the intersection of route 202 and street road, if you google that.

Do you care to share which banks made this change. Seems like it's all coming at once here.

I was about to suggest you start an exchange program with someone that like begium coins. Then I saw your blog entry! Looks like you have already made plenty of connections. Good luck!

Wanted to do that, but it is to expensive to send rolls overseas. Not worth it in my opinion.

I would suggest that you post on craigslist or the like that you are willing to buy US coins at the current exchange rate. You might be able to compile quite a collection that way.

Also you can ask people going to the US to pick up coins. I have someone who will pick me up some Francs (Swiss) next time they go.

wow this thread is pretty slow today! Everybody must be to busy counting the huge amounts of silver they are finding.

I'm wondering if all of you hold all the coins you find, or do you try to trade up? I'm thinking of selling a couple rolls of 40% and buying back decent condition 90%. I'm not sure of how to do this though. I don't want high end slabbed coins but I don't want worn or damaged junk either. anyone know of a good way to aquire near Bu halves at melt?

My coin shop said they will charge a higher premium if I ask to sort. I won't be doing large enough volume to make it worth going on a web site, and I don't know what quality thier junk silver would be.

Second biggest find ever for me.

Was dropping by some banks near my parents house later in the day, ran into a Wells Fargo. Asked one teller if they had halves, he said no. I ask him for a box of dimes, he says "Go talk to *points* her." So go over there, ask for box of dimes, she begins to oblige, and I ask if they've got halves. She says yeah, $60. I say I'll take 'em, of course. I first notice the writing on the rolls...

Take a peek inside the liberty roll, see a WLH. :D

One of the rolls appears to be an original roll of '67's.

    Time to open 'em up.

Final tally? 92 40%ers, I'm not opening the OBWR of '67s.

    And 24 90%ers.
