are you sure? (not that i dont want to believe you but that is the data in the library of coinnection) Its a Lincoln Memorial, and there it says its 95% / 5%
Yeah koen, I assume you got that information on my website. I need to update the Lincoln memorial information. Half way through 1982, they switched it to 99.2%Zince and .8% copper. So that's my fault.
aaah, then i will adjust it in my first post. No problem. That library is a great piece of work, so i can understand its not always easy to keep it 100% updated
Noooooooooooooo, now all my dreams are shattered I tought the internet was ALWAYS the truth I cant live anymore now i know that the internet lies. Just kidding Its not realy a lie, i see it as a small update problem
i have been told to forget the VF30 for this coin and go for beter Someone told me VF35 or even XF40 What do you guys think?
Oh, sorry, luster is created when irregularities on the coin die are transferred to the surface of a coin. When light hits the abnormal surface of the coin, a sort of gleem or shine is produced, called luster, or lustre.
Also, I must add, that luster decreases with wear or circulation to/on the coin. Most coins below AU-50 are quite lacking in the luster department, your coin is not!
