The Giants & Patriots are going to the Superbowl this year. Does anyone have any Giants:hail: or Patriots:hail: medals they could share with us? I don't have any Giants or Patriots to share personally. I do have this commemorative NY Jets medal.
Nice medals D.T.Menace. I did a search for Giants & Patriot medals on the Internet & found nothing very interesting. However, as soon as I changed "medal" to "coin" in my search, all kinds of medals were listed.
I don't have any coins or tokens but I do have some college unopened Coke bottles from some of the 80s championships bowls. I got a nice Penn State I saw someone (crazy person that is) on eBay trying to sell for 10k since Paterno passed away Sunday. Got a few Cowboys Superbowl coke bottles too. I inherited them all, my dad loved these bottles and swore they're almost priceless. I've seen most go for $10-$15 each.
I can later once I get home but here's an idea from images I found online of a few I have (The Paul Bear Bryant one was my dad's favorite, had 3 of them. Not a championship but a milestone bottle for the coach): My favorite is my Tarheels 81-82 basketball championship bottle (Jordan was on team then): All of mine are still unopened. I wonder what the coke tastes like now?
I'm in mourning... I think I have a Niners round from one of their Super Bowl years, but it would take a good deal of digging to find. As for the Giants and the Patriots... well, I have several SF Giants medals and a Colonial note, if that helps.
