Odd Color Cent

    This 1997_D Lincoln cent looks gold in color, favors the Sacagawea. I put a regular cent in the picture to show the differences.

    It's not that odd really - copper is an extremely reactive metal, even more so than silver. There are any number of things that can cause copper to change into almost any color you can imagine.
