1909 indian head cent

    Sorry i know pics are blurry but you can make out all of LIBERTY on head band. Any idea of grade and value???

    It's too blurry, but I would guess it's about VF.

    One in similar condition just sold on eb@y for 7 bucks.

    I'd say since the there's a wear on LIBERTY, although you can make it out, it's not sharp though, I'd put this more in the ballpark of F12 or so. I'd say the value is anywhere between $5 and $15. My last 1909 IHC with a Full Liberty (slightly worn, not perfectly sharp) I got for about $10 or less I think if I recall correctly. Seems from my experience, these can fluctuate a bit in that range, depending on the buyer and what they're willing to spend on them.

    I agree with the above posters. It looks to be in the F-12 range. I would put a price tag of $10 on it, all though a few collectors may pay $15 for it. Too bad it doesn't have an S! Then that would be a $500 coin.

    It's way better than an F12. I'd say VF30 is more appropriate and it's worth between $10-$15 or so.
