Anyone collect modern Canadian Coins?

    moneyer12 i just love UK coins.......

    i used to but they are becoming as bad as somalia, and the likes for issuing coins like confetti for any obscure reason

    i agree with moneyer 12, i like canadain but there getting nuts makeing all kinds of coins :(

    I tend to steer clear of most of the NCLT stuff from the RCM, except for the proof sets.
    I have bought a few NCLT sets (like the 1998 90th Anniversary sets) that recall earlier coinage.
    Mostly though I concentrate on pre-1968 coinage.

    I used to collect Canadian NCLT, but there's just too much stuff. It is too overwhelming now. I'm sticking to ancient Canadian issues.

    Me too CoinGeezer, I think the pre-1967 coinage is vastly underrated and offers a lot of collecting (and money-making) opportunities. I also tend to steer clear of the Prooflike issues and prefer the Mint State series in large part.

    My exception to the pre-68 coinage is the circulating dollar series (pre-loonie). There's not that many, so I was able to put together a nice set for not-so-much $
