Without spending a fortune. Right now I keep them in a wooden box but I'm afraid I will scratch them.
Is this a question, comment, topic or what? Or is it just some random thought? Where are you going with this, and what is the concern other than spending vasts amounts of money to protect the slab? Personally I use the little black velvet drawstring bags. Other threads have been on here recently that you can use the search function to find if you want. In fact, just 7 days ago, in case you forgot, you started a thread on this: http://www.cointalk.com/t198496/ and actually got answers. So why a new one now?
Are you playing hockey with your slabs? You mentioned slab protectors in another post. Just throw them in a shoe box if you need to. But if you are only picking them up to view them and putting them back down, then put them in whatever you want. My local dealer has NGC boxes that I store mine for about $10 a piece, new.
