I think I see what you are talking about. That really small line under the ear is really a very small die break. This type of error happens when a very small part of the die used to strike the coins falls off. Although this is an error this is not very large and it does not stand out. The break also blends in with the hair and does not look out of place unless you look at it under a microscope so it does not command a very large premium. -Jimmbob82
