The photos make it hard to really get a good look at the coins...but I don't think either is MS67. Both appear to have some scuffs on them (fingerprints?) and both have a few marks.
Correct they do have finger prints and some contact marks but no wear. I pulled these out of a $500 bank box of quarters and was wondering if they would be considered MS67+. I now know that it is not worth searching any circulated coins as they will not produce MS67+ coins. Would you say MS65???
Well now that you put it that way i guess your right, you cant get unc coins in circulated coins. Some of them just look like they have never been touched i have better ones then i posted. I was just wondering if it is possible? Ill post some better ones tell me what you think?
I don't like gloves...I just handle coins by the rims. The finger prints probably came from these coins be circulated. The photos make it hard, but it looks like the Pennsylvania has wear...especially on the reverse. If it does not, it is only going to be a low MS coin...MS60 or 61 IMHO. The Colorado might be a little higher, but these are circulation finds...they aren't high MS grades. I'd bet both have some wear and thus are not MS at all.
You can find coins without wear in circulation (and thus MS)...they just have to have spent their life in a bank vault or something.
