The USA has the Red Book, Canada has the Charlton Catalogue - so what is the equivalent for British Coins?

Spink - they publish a new one every year I believe.

Just as a mention , France has Gadoury, the Netherlands has de nederlandse munten.

And Spain has Cayon and Cayon. :)

Yeah, Spink for British. I get a new one every 7 years or so, kinda like my redbooks.

Coins of England and the United Kingdom, 46th edition Standard Catalogue of British Coins 2011. Excellent source. Full color. I purchased a copy online from an eBay numismatic literature dealer.

Numislit? I have bought so much from him you think he would send me a Christmas card. :)

I do not remember from which eBay dealer I purchased the 2011 Spink, but I have been making very good use of this reference of late and purchased a 2003 silver piedfort set.

Russia has Uzdenikov (Уздеников) and Bitkin (Биткин).

    Thanks everyone.
I found an older copy on Amazon.ca which winds up being free for me (from an old credit I had there and couldn't use on the US site.)

The Coincraft Standard Catalogue is out of print but well worth obtaining to supplement Spink
