Good evening, morning, afternoon to all my friends here at coin talk. As I have hit the 1000 mark in posts I would like to make a small conetest. I have also made a small donation to cointalk as they are the reason for all of this. I have been here now for two years and the site has been a great source of information and I have also made many friends who I stay in touch with on regular bases. Two of those I met here that are now close firends Mr Gudni (Icemand) and Mark (Whiskey) that one just came out with out thinking hehe. I am very greatful for all the input I have gotten as well as what I have read and I´m sure that has and will take me further with my knowlidge every time I visit. It is also importand for the owners to realize what a great site they are running. And what they do is more then just a forum. Just for fun here is my first post from two years ago. http://www.cointalk.com/t51243/ As for the contest it is as simple as can be. Just add a random comment here and your in. The price is this 1974 proof set as seen here. These are 1000 and 500 Kronur both sterling silver with total weight 50 grams. Contest will on the 26th of January at 21:00 GMT Again thank you cointalk and my friends at cointalk. Hope the next 1000 posts will be of any help to others as yours have been for me. Best regards Siggi Palma ( The pretty man from Iceland )
A random comment? OK 8 out of 10 racoons that steal coins prefer silver over copper, nickel or clad coinage. (However, your results may vary.) Congratulations on your 1000th post!
I would also like to say thank you to all the people here for the help they have givin me. I have learned alot just from reading all the posts. I have been away for a little while due to health reasons, but I am doing fine now. sure is great to be back thanks again everyone.
Even though it is a large animal, there has never been an Aardvark that has measured over 6 (1.8m) feet long. Thanks for the contest:>)
They are still in the box at the same place, But what I have learned since is the sulfur in our water will tone the coins as well as erias in Iceland wich have sulfur in the air due to hot springs. So these were AT coins Even though it was not ment as intentional Did not know that ? Hehehe nice random comment See you learn something new every day ! Always wanted to go to San Diego
A lions roar can be heard up to 5 miles away. If you have 3 quarters, 4 dimes, and 4 pennies, you have $1.19. You also have the largest amount of money in coins without being able to make change for a dollar.
