Heard about the grading contest being held at the F.U.N. show, and it sounded like a ton of fun (no pun intended)! Though I doubt I'll make it to the show between the 3-hour time slated for the contest, I'll definitely be able to make it to the show none-the-less! Sure sounds like it'd be interesting, considering that I'm a YN, and I'm not too sure how many YN's in my area are relatively experienced in the field of numismatics... But if there are any, jeeee, would I love to meet 'em! :)

Maybe I can pull some strings and hitch a ride with my fellow coin shop buddies, as I presume they'll be attending the show as well (hopefully during the timeframe of the YN contest).

But here's a question- In this article, it states that "Adults most be current members of PCGS...", but I see nothing regarding YN's needing to be active PCGS members. So does that mean any YN can simply walk through the door and participate in the contest with no questions asked?

With all of the coins you seem to be sellin' around these parts, I'm sure you'll get the money eventually. :p

Brian I'm pretty sure that they won't require anyone to be a member if anything. If you can grade all 10 to the correct grade, I would ask them to pay for my membership and take me out to lunch as well. I'm sure the motivation here is that they are looking for fresh new talent.

Try Publisher's Clearing House or Mega Millions. ;)

Anyone grading all of the coins accurately should be offered a job, being
that jobs are the hardest things for some people to come by lately!

Honestly Brian I don't care how old you are. If you can grade thousand+ dollar coins accurately you should be entitled to a TPG of your choosing, and paid a nice salary. That goes for anyone that has this innate talent. (Something that I do not have).
