Hi Bob, This is a bronze proof tower of Londo Medal ...A firend of mine was stationed in Scottland and gave me this one. The color is over the top. Not as nice as the Buffalo Nickels they Minted there but o-well I'll take it....:hail:
The crows are all over the Tower of London. So it's not by accident they feature one on this Medel. They did do a great job on this piece I agree...And the Patination has occured, no question!!
You have one beautiful toner Cent there! Did you find in circulation or searching through rolls or did you purchase it? I don't think I have seen a Cent so far that has so many colors combined on one coin like that!
I bought it many years ago at a show. Toners like this alway catch my eye, even if ungradable by a TPG.
Your Franklin is beautifully toned. Toned Franklins are uncommon and rather rare. Of course, I'm sure that you know that already.
