I am not impressed by those that have shown a level of immaturity in this thread. Weather it's because you do not know better or think you are being cute, your response is not something you would appreciate in a thread you started. How does it go? "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!!!" For collectors of uncut sheets or high numbered notes there is a premium. I have done plenty of business with people/businesses that sell notes that specifically cater to these types of collectors. I believe that TheNoost and Ldhair gave you a fair range. For older series like this, the value can go up nicely if the notes are GEM.
As a nice little display piece, it's probably wort 15 or 20 bucks, but there's nothing inherently collectible about the bills. The serials are very high, but so are all bills sold as uncut sheets. If you got it at face, you did no worse than breaking even. Edit - Oops - I missed page two of the thread. So I'm just repeating previous posters. Joe
First of all, don't spend them like some of the others have told you to do. Two Dollar bills are really neat and although they aren't worth much, they are a nice novelty to have. Yours is an uncut sheet of three. They come in many shapes & sizes having several bills uncut on one sheet. A lot of people frame them and hang them on their wall. That's what I'd do if I were you. You can get these from the mint at cost plus a premium. Not sure what the premium is, but that is the amount I would base their value.
I always thought stuff like this in little displays to be a bit cool. Not something you see everyday. When they were made I'll bet they were trying to get $40 or more for them as a novelty. Today, all it takes are two folks that really want it on ebay to bring a crazy price. I understand that to some this is only worth face value. Others may pay more because they think it's a cool looking item. To me, that's just the way the hobby works.
I've used low value items like this as gifts. It can be an exciting item for someone who is just starting collecting.
