Error Penny?

I was going thru my 1970 S pennies and I came across this one on the reverse. It is somewhat of a small(?) error on the top of the building. The lines are missing completely on the left side and barely visable (with a 10x magnifying glass) on the right side. Sooo, is it a rare error, or is this common?

I'm having a hard time making out what you've described but it looks like the one that is blown up in the second picture was struck from a worn die and would not have any additional value.

The photos you've included don't help much because they seem to be out-of-focus at the portion of the coin you're speaking of, but chances are the coin was just poorly struck.

Nothing, that I can see, screams "Mint error!" on your coin.
