Today i was talking to someone from work. She has been to the US a few weeks ago. I asked her if she by any chanse had some coins left from her visit there and she had. She gave them all to me. I know these coins are absolutely worth nothing (at least that is what i think) becouse they are all change she got in stores on her trip to the US But i am happy with them, its the start (these and the ones comming from some peaple from this forum) of a nice hobby. These coins i got from her: I am going to grade them soon just to practice the grading, so when i have done that i will post my findings here to, so you guys can correct me
The girl i work with had some more coins with her today.Again nothing special, but i am verry happy with them. There are 2 quarter dollars and a piece of 1cent tough that maybe are a little special.Quarter dollar of Yosemite and a quarter dollar Guam. The 1cent i need to look into further. It has Lincoln on the headside, but on the otherside there is an immage of a hunting cabin. The coin is from 2009 but i gues it is for the anyversary of something because on the side with the hunting cabin it says 1809.But since i am at work now its a little harder to look for info. When i get home i am going to google them and place pic's here.Ps: sorry for more spelling mistakes as usual, but i posted this with my cellphone
Thats actually the cabin Lincoln was born in. What you have is the first coin of four different reverses for 2009. They were issued to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Lincolns birth.
oh, nice the one i have is in verry good shape (no wear, almost no scratches, ...) Will take a pic of it later today. Just got home from work and i am going to eat first
Awesome! Which of those type coins do you like the most? So when I get the package out to you I can include some?????
i have no favorites yet i like them all i allready made seperate books for the coins (was gonna put them all in one book at first ) a book for the lincolns, a book for the quarter dollars, ... So i am verry happy with whatever i recieve
